Overview

The Lumishore 010-04461-00 is an 18 inch color changing LED flood light for lighting up deck spaces, cockpits, work areas, and dockside approaches. It runs on 10.5 to 31 V DC for 12 V or 24 V systems and throws a wide 70 to 90 degree oval beam with 7,500 fixture lumens when you need real coverage, not a tight spot.

Light output is full spectrum CRGBW, so you can run tunable white from 2700K to 6500K as well as red, green, and blue. The housing is powder coated aluminum with a frosted lens and an IP68 ingress rating, which suits exposed mounting on hardtops, arches, transoms, radar pedestals, and cabin tops where spray and washdowns are part of normal life.

Control is handled through the LUX ecosystem. The light connects through a simple three wire setup and uses a data line that can be daisy chained, while each light still needs its own fused power feed. This is a good fit for boats that want one light to cover both working white light at the dock and color scenes at anchor without adding separate fixtures.

Key features
  • 18 inch flood light with a 70 to 90 degree oval beam for broad deck and cockpit coverage
  • 7,500 fixture lumens output for practical, high visibility illumination on board
  • CRGBW output with tunable white from 2700K to 6500K plus red, green, and blue
  • 10.5 to 31 V DC input range for common 12 V and 24 V installations
  • Max current draw rated at 9.2 A on 12 V and 4.6 A on 24 V
  • Powder coated aluminum body with frosted lens and an IP68 water ingress rating
  • Works with the LUX Light Control Module and supports data daisy chaining, up to 16 lights per module
  • Dimming supported through the control system
  • Typical LED life rated at 50,000+ hours and backed by a 3 year warranty
Installation and setup

This light mounts on its stainless bracket and articulates for aiming, which helps when you are trying to cover a cockpit, a swim platform, or a working area on deck without glare back into the helm. Hardware tightening is specified at 5 Nm for the bracket fasteners, and it is worth taking a moment to aim the beam before final torque so the coverage lands where you actually use it.

Plan the wiring so each fixture has its own fused supply and a clean ground return, then run the data wire to allow daisy chaining between lights. Wiring practices should follow ABYC guidelines, and the light should be positioned so people are not routinely staring into the LEDs at close range while it is operating.

Electrical and control integration

The light requires connection to a LUX Light Control Module for normal operation. Basic on and off control can be done with a customer supplied momentary switch, while the EOS LUX Command Center provides a dedicated lighting control interface for dimming and color control.

If you are building a helm centered system, this light can be part of an integrated setup where lighting control is handled alongside other onboard electronics when the compatible control hardware and cabling are in place. For multi light installs, keep the module limit in mind and lay out circuits so future expansion does not force you to rework the whole run.

Materials and care

The powder coated aluminum housing and IP68 sealing are meant for real exterior use, including salt spray, sun exposure, and vibration. Still, cable routing and strain relief matter a lot on boats, so avoid hard bends at the fixture and secure the run so it cannot chafe over time.

For cleaning, use mild soap and water with a soft cloth. Avoid chemical cleaners and do not power wash the fixture, and give it a quick inspection periodically to make sure the mount stays tight and the wiring is still well supported.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.

To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.

We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
