Overview
The Lumishore 010-04458-00 is a 4 inch above-water LED flood light in a white finish that puts 1,500 fixture lumens of white light (5500 K) into a 70 to 90 degree oval beam. It runs on 10.5 to 31 V DC for 12 V and 24 V systems, and it draws up to 1.7 A at 12 V or 0.9 A at 24 V.
It is a good fit for cockpit, deck, and transom work lighting where you want a useful spread without a bulky fixture. The housing is powder-coated aluminum with a frosted lens and an IP68 seal, so it holds up to spray, washdowns, and the vibration you get on fast runs.
Key features
- 1,500 fixture lumens of white light (5500 K) with a 70 to 90 degree oval beam for practical coverage across working areas
- 10.5 to 31 V DC input for 12 V and 24 V systems
- Max current draw: 1.7 A at 12 V, 0.9 A at 24 V
- IP68-rated sealing for heavy spray and washdowns
- Powder-coated aluminum body with frosted lens in a white finish
- Built-in dimming and protection features including reverse polarity protection and 3,000 V surge protection
- Overall size including bracket: 10.6 x 4.5 x 5.8 cm (4.20 x 1.77 x 2.29 in) with a 35 cm (13.8 in) cable lead
Installation and setup
Mounting is via a single stainless fixing bracket, which suits cabin tops, hardtops, arches, or other flat, solid surfaces. Plan the cable route before drilling and seal the cable pass-through so water cannot wick into the core. A cable gland or equivalent sealed fitting helps keep the entry tidy and watertight.
On fiberglass and composite surfaces, use appropriate backing and tighten hardware evenly to avoid crushing or spider cracking. Keep the cable in a fixed position with strain relief so it cannot twist or chafe as the boat moves.
Electrical and system integration
For basic operation, wiring is a simple 2-wire connection for on and off control, with dimming available through switch control. It can also be integrated with compatible lighting control systems such as the ECLIPSE Command Center, EOS-LUX Command Center, or MFD-based control when used with the appropriate control module.
As with any high-draw deck lighting circuit, keep wire sizing and voltage drop in mind on longer runs, and size circuit protection to the complete lighting circuit.
Use on board
This light works well for anglers and cruisers who want clear working light at the transom, in the cockpit, or along side decks during docking and cleanup. It also makes sense on boats with mixed electronics and power loads where a 12 V or 24 V compatible flood light keeps the install straightforward.

International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
