Overview
The Lumishore 010-04455-00 is a 1000 mm cut-and-seal LED strip light for onboard accent lighting, with full-spectrum CRGBW output (cold white, red, green, blue, warm white) plus tunable white from 2700 K to 6500 K. It carries an IP68 ingress rating and is intended for indoor or outdoor mounting above the waterline.
This strip uses 180 LEDs per meter and is meant to be cut to fit. Cut points are spaced at 100 mm intervals, and the cut end can be sealed so the strip stays watertight. It is dimmable and runs from a strip light driver, with control through a momentary switch and upgrade paths to compatible MFD integration or a dedicated display setup.
Key features
- 1 m (1000 mm) cut-and-seal strip light with cut points every 100 mm
- CRGBW output plus tunable white from 2700 K to 6500 K in the same strip
- 180 LEDs per meter for even light along the run
- IP68-rated strip for above-water installations that see spray and washdowns
- Connectors at both ends for cleaner routing and easier service access
- Adhesive backing and screw-clip mounting method for secure installation on a boat
- Dimmable operation via a strip light driver; multiple strip runs supported up to 10 m total per driver
- UV resistant and salt spray tested for exposed marine spaces
Installation and setup
Plan the run first, including where the driver will live and where you will place strain relief at the ends. For adhesive mounting, prep the surface well so the backing can hold through heat and vibration. In areas that see pounding or frequent cleaning, the screw-clip mounting method helps keep the strip from lifting over time.
If you need a shorter length, cut only at the marked 100 mm cut points. Seal the cut end immediately so moisture cannot wick into the strip, then route the cable so it will not chafe on fiberglass edges, hatch frames, or metal brackets.
Electrical and control notes
This strip light is powered by a strip light driver. Keep the driver in a dry, accessible spot for service, and follow your vessel wiring standards for protection and conductor sizing based on the driver requirements. Control can be as simple as a momentary switch, with options to integrate the lighting into a compatible multifunction display or a dedicated display-style control setup depending on the rest of the system.
Use cases on board
This style of strip works well for toe-kicks, steps, under-gunwale runs, locker lighting, and under-cabinet lines where you want color control and adjustable white for different moods. It is a good match for boats that need above-deck lighting accents that can handle sun exposure and regular spray.
What’s included
- One (1) Lux Cut & Seal Strip Light SL180 (1000 mm)
- Two (2) connectors (one at each end)
- Sealing kit: one (1) tube of silicon adhesive and four (4) end caps
Maintenance and care
Rinse salt off during routine washdowns and avoid aggressive solvents on the strip and adhesive backing. After any cut-and-seal work, recheck the end cap seal once the adhesive has cured, especially if the strip sits in a spot that stays damp from spray.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
