Overview

The Lumishore 010-04443-00 is an i-Connect installation kit that serves as a junction box and control hub for SUPRA Series SMX underwater lights. It runs on 10.5 to 31 V DC for 12 V and 24 V systems, and one hub can manage up to four light circuits with a replaceable blade fuse and a status LED for each output.

The enclosure is IP68 and sized 148 mm x 79 mm x 38 mm, which helps when you need to mount it in places that see spray, washdowns, and vibration. Switching is handled by a built-in relay, and the internal noise filter and reverse polarity protection add a layer of protection when the boat electrical environment gets messy.

Control can be handled locally with the included hub switch, or through a compatible MFD, EOS-LUX-SUPRA display, or WiFi control when used with a SUPRA Bridge Module. Up to four hubs can be used in one installation for up to sixteen lights total.

  • Max input current up to 40 A, with up to 10 A available per light circuit
  • IP68 enclosure with an ABS housing and IP68 cable entry and exit connections for wet areas
  • Replaceable blade fuse and a status indication LED for each light output for quicker fault finding
  • Built-in relay for switching, plus a built-in noise filter and reverse polarity protection
  • Local control via the included hub switch, with MFD, display, or WiFi control available when paired with a SUPRA Bridge Module

  • Field-installable IP68 connectors for SMX connections
Compatibility and fit

This hub is intended for SUPRA Series SMX underwater lighting installations where you want centralized distribution, per-light protection, and cleaner cable management. It is Lumi-Link compatible, and it supports control through a compatible MFD or EOS-LUX-SUPRA display when a SUPRA Bridge Module is used. If you are planning a multi-light install, keep the per-circuit and total current limits in mind so the hub and wiring stay within spec.

Installation and setup

Plan the mounting spot so light cables can reach without tight bends and so you can still access the fuses and status LEDs after the job is finished. The IP68 connectors are field-installable, which helps when you are pulling cables through rigging tubes and need to terminate at the hub after routing. For best results on a boat, use proper strain relief, keep connections clean and dry while assembling, and secure the harness so it cannot chafe.

Electrical and system integration

The hub acts as the switching point for the lights, with a built-in relay and per-output fusing. When the optional SUPRA Bridge Module is part of the system, control can move to the helm through a compatible MFD or to a dedicated display, and WiFi control can also be used through the same integration path. This approach keeps heavy-current lighting runs off the dash switches while still giving you clear circuit-level feedback at the hub.

Use cases on board

This setup fits boats that run multiple transom underwater lights and need a tidy way to distribute power while keeping each light protected and easy to troubleshoot. It is a good match for refits where you are upgrading an older lighting install and want centralized fusing and status indication without reworking the entire helm.

Maintenance and troubleshooting

If a light stops responding, the first checks are the status LED for that circuit and the matching blade fuse, followed by inspection of the connector seating and wiring condition. Keeping the hub area free of standing water and periodically checking cable support points goes a long way toward preventing intermittent issues in rough conditions.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.

To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
