Overview
The Lumishore 010-04440-00 is a LUX DL50 flush-mount downlight with full-spectrum CRGBW color and tunable white light (2700K to 6500K) for overhead lighting in cabins and covered exterior spaces. It runs on 10.5 to 31 V DC, works on both 12V and 24V systems, and uses an IP68-sealed build that holds up in wet areas and routine washdowns.
This is the white-bezel version with a 64 mm front diameter and a 50 mm cutout size, with only 30.3 mm of mounting depth behind the panel. It installs as a low-profile downlight and ties into a dedicated LUX lighting control module, so it is a good fit when you want coordinated scene control across multiple lights rather than a standalone two-wire dome light.
Key features
- Full spectrum CRGBW output plus tunable white from 2700K to 6500K in one downlight
- 10.5 to 31 V DC input for 12V and 24V boats; max current draw 0.5A at 12V or 0.25A at 24V
- IP68 ingress protection for wet areas and washdowns; intended for indoor, outdoor, and partially covered locations, not permanent submersion
- Low-profile fit with 64 mm bezel diameter, 50 mm hole cutout, and 30.3 mm mounting depth
- Hard anodised aluminium body with stainless steel spring clips for mechanical installation
- Works with a required LUX Light Control Module (up to 16 downlights per module) and uses a simple 3-wire connection
- Built-in electrical protection including surge protection, reverse polarity protection, low-voltage protection, soft-start, and in-rush current protection
- ISO 8846 ignition protection
Installation and fit
Plan for a flat mounting surface and enough clearance behind the headliner or overhead panel for the light body and wiring. The cutout size is 50 mm (about a 2 inch hole saw), and the bezel covers the edge of the opening for a clean finished look. For interior installs, the spring clips hold the light in place once it is pushed into the cutout.
In exterior locations or wet areas, the light can be bonded in place using a suitable marine sealant or adhesive, with the spring clips removed. This approach helps keep the installation tight in areas that see vibration, spray, and frequent cleaning.
Electrical and system integration
This downlight is meant to be connected to the matching LUX downlight control module and should not be tied into third-party dimmers or lighting controllers. Typical current draw is about 0.37A on 12V or 0.18A on 24V, which helps when estimating total load for multi-light zones on a boat.
Control can be handled through a compatible command center or a customer-supplied momentary switch, depending on how you are setting up zones and scenes. When wiring through overhead panels, leave a little service loop so the light can be removed later without straining the conductors.
Use on board
Use it for overhead lighting in salons, cabins, galley spaces, and heads, or under hardtops and in covered cockpits where you want a flush finish. The ability to run red or warmer tones is useful when you want light that is easier on night vision without turning the area into a spotlight.
This is a practical match for cruisers and sportfishing boats that want coordinated courtesy and overhead lighting across multiple zones, with color control available when you want it and clean white light for everyday tasks.
Maintenance and care
Clean the bezel and lens with mild soap and water, then rinse and wipe dry. Avoid chemical cleaners, especially around the lens and bezel, and keep sealants and adhesives away from visible surfaces during installation to prevent haze or staining.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
