Overview
The Lumishore 010-04439-00 is a DL65 LED downlight with an IP68 rating, giving you tunable white light from 2700K to 6500K plus full-spectrum RGB color in one fixture, powered from 10.5 to 31 V DC.
It sits low on the headliner with an 82 mm bezel, needs a 65 mm cutout, and has a 33.6 mm body depth behind the panel. That combination helps when you are working around deck beams, liners, and tight wiring runs.
This downlight is intended to run through a compatible light control module (required). Each light connects with a simple 3-wire run, and control can be handled through a momentary switch setup or integrated controls depending on the lighting system on board.
Key features
- 10.5 to 31 V DC input for 12 V and 24 V systems; max current draw 0.6 A at 12 V or 0.3 A at 24 V
- IP68 rating for overhead locations that see humidity, spray, or regular washdowns
- Tunable white (2700K to 6500K) plus RGB channels (warm white, cold white, red, green, blue)
- Stainless steel bezel with a hard anodized aluminum body
- 82 mm bezel with a 65 mm cutout; 3.3 mm low-profile face and 33.6 mm depth
- Simple 3-wire installation to the control module; up to 16 downlights supported per module
- Built-in electrical protections including surge, low-voltage, reverse polarity, soft-start, and inrush current protection
- ISO 8846 ignition protection listed for marine installations where ignition protection is required
Installation and fit
Confirm you have at least 33.6 mm of clearance behind the mounting surface, plus space for the wire to bend without getting pinched. A 65 mm hole saw matches the cutout, and the 82 mm bezel covers the edge for a clean finish on headliners and overhead panels.
Mounting can be done with stainless steel spring clips for typical interior panels. Where access is limited or vibration is higher, optional screw fitting and marine adhesive mounting methods are available for a more fixed installation.
Electrical and control
Plan this as a controlled lighting circuit, not a direct-to-battery light. Each downlight uses a 3-wire connection into a compatible multi-channel light control module, and the system supports momentary switch control for onboard operation.
For larger refits, the ability to run up to 16 downlights from one module can help keep wiring organized and makes it easier to group cabins, companionways, and cockpit overheads into manageable zones.
Where it works well on board
This is a good match for boats that want one overhead fixture that can shift from warm cabin lighting at anchor to cooler task lighting underway, while still having color options for night ambiance. The IP68 rating also suits partially covered exterior overhead placements where fixtures are exposed to damp air and spray.
Maintenance and care
Rinse salt residue off the bezel during routine washdowns and avoid abrasive cleaners on the face. In wet areas, keep splices and connectors inside a dry space or a sealed junction so the wiring side of the installation holds up as well as the fixture.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team.
