Overview
The Victron Energy REC020005010 is a Digital Multi Control 200/200A GX panel for remote control and monitoring of Victron Multi and Quattro inverter/charger systems. It lets the operator view and adjust AC input current limits from the boat’s helm, nav station, electrical panel, or another protected control location instead of accessing the inverter/charger directly.
This panel is used with Victron Multi, MultiPlus, MultiPlus-II, Quattro, Quattro-II, EasySolar and compatible legacy systems. It supports stand-alone, parallel, and 2- or 3-phase inverter/charger configurations, with current limit settings up to 200A depending on the connected system. That makes it useful on boats that move between shore power pedestals, onboard generators, and marina supplies with different breaker ratings.
The display shows AC input current information and can also show AC input source or VE.Bus error codes when applicable. Eight LEDs mirror inverter and charger status, and the LEDs dim automatically in lower light so the panel is easier to live with at night.
Key features
- Remote AC input current control for Victron Multi and Quattro inverter/charger systems.
- Current limit setting range up to 200A, subject to the connected inverter/charger system.
- Supports stand-alone, parallel, and 2- or 3-phase system configurations.
- Works with systems that use one or multiple AC inputs, including setups with generator and shore power sources.
- RJ45 UTP connection to the inverter/charger system keeps installation straightforward in most applications.
- Power mode switch allows the inverter/charger system to be set to on, off, or charger-only mode.
- 7-segment display shows AC input current and can display source or VE.Bus error information when relevant.
- Eight status LEDs repeat inverter and charger indications, with automatic dimming in low-light conditions.
Installation and setup
The panel connects to the inverter/charger or VE.Bus system using a regular straight RJ45 UTP cable. In most installations, connecting the cable is enough for the panel to adapt to the system, although custom current limits can be configured when the operator should not be able to set the full available AC input range.
For a boat installation, mount the panel in a protected helm, cabin, nav station, or electrical panel area where it can be seen and reached easily. It is not a washdown panel and should not be operated in rain or dusty conditions. If generator support is being used with an external transfer switch, the rear screw terminals can be wired to an auxiliary relay so a preset generator current limit is sent when that input is active.
Compatibility and system integration
This control panel is compatible with MultiCompact, MultiPlus, MultiPlus-II, MultiPlus-II GX, Quattro, Quattro-II, EasySolar, EasySolar-II GX, and legacy pre-VE.Bus Multi, MultiCompact, MultiPlus, and Quattro inverter/chargers. It is a practical match for vessels with Victron inverter/charger systems where shore power limits change from dock to dock or where generator loading needs to stay controlled.
In Quattro systems with two AC sources, the panel can follow the active input and show the relevant AC input information. In MultiPlus systems using a transfer switch, it can also be configured for generator current limit behavior when the installation includes the required auxiliary switching.
Use on board
This panel suits cruising boats, fishing boats, and liveaboard systems where AC power management is part of the daily routine. It gives the operator a local way to reduce shore current draw at a small marina pedestal, increase the limit when a higher-rated supply is available, or monitor system status without opening an electrical locker.

Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
