Overview
The Lumishore 010-04437-00 is a LUX SNL180 neon flex strip light in a 3000 mm length that gives you full color CRGBW plus tunable white from 2700K to 6500K. The diffused construction keeps the light line smooth so you do not see individual LED dots on glossy gelcoat, glass, or polished trim.
This strip runs 180 LEDs per meter and carries an IP67 ingress rating for wet areas and routine washdowns, while staying intended for above water mounting. Dimming and color control are handled through a LUX Strip Light Driver, with control options that range from a simple momentary switch to integration with a compatible MFD or an optional Lumishore display.
Key features
- 3000 mm (3 m) neon flex strip with a diffused light line for clean accent lighting
- Full spectrum CRGBW plus tunable white from 2700K to 6500K in the same strip
- 180 LEDs per meter for an even output along the run
- IP67 ingress rating for interior and exterior locations above the waterline
- Dimmable control through a LUX Strip Light Driver
- Flexible bend profile for curved runs around coamings, coves, and framing
- Screw clip mounting for secure installs in high vibration areas
- UV resistant and salt spray tested for long-term exposure on deck and in cockpits
- Driver supports multiple strips with up to 10 m total length per driver for multi-zone layouts
Installation and setup
Plan the run first and confirm you have room for the strip’s bend radius on corners and transitions. For a clean finish, mount the strip where it is shielded from direct impacts and abrasion, then use the supplied screw clips to keep the light line straight through turns and overhead sections.
Route wiring so it stays protected from chafe and standing water, and keep the strip installed above the waterline. When installing in open cockpits, under gunwales, or on T-top structures, leave slack where panels open and add strain relief at the driver end to prevent fatigue from vibration.
Compatibility and control
This strip is powered through a LUX Strip Light Driver, which also handles dimming and color mixing. Control can stay simple with a momentary switch, or expand into helm control using compatible MFD integration and optional display hardware, which is useful when you want consistent lighting scenes across cockpit, cabin, and steps.
If you are planning multiple accent zones, the driver capacity of up to 10 m total strip length is a practical limit to keep in mind. Measuring runs before you start helps you decide whether you can keep everything on one driver or split zones across multiple drivers.
Use cases on board
This style of neon flex works well anywhere you want a continuous light line rather than point sources, such as under gunwales, toe-kick areas, cabin coves, headliners, and hardtop accents. It is a good match for boats that spend time in salt air and regular washdowns, and for owners who want both color and adjustable white for different on-board moods without changing fixtures.
What’s included
- One (1) Superbright Neon Flex SNL180 strip light, 3000 mm
Maintenance and care
Rinse off salt residue during routine washdowns and wipe the lens surface with mild soap and water as needed. Periodically check clip fasteners and cable routing in high traffic areas to make sure the strip stays supported and protected from chafe.
