Overview
The Lumishore 010-04427-00 is a LUX SNL180 neon flex LED strip light in a 2000 mm factory-sealed length for above-water accent and courtesy lighting on boats.
It uses a diffuser that blends the LEDs so the light reads as a continuous line instead of a row of dots, which helps when it is in direct view or reflecting off gelcoat, glass, or painted panels. The strip is rated IP67 for wet areas and washdowns, but it is not meant to be permanently submerged.
This strip uses full-spectrum CRGBW lighting with tunable white from 2700K to 6500K, 180 LEDs per meter, and a power rating of 5 W per meter. It runs on 23 to 25 V and is intended to be used with a LUX Strip Light Driver.
Key features
- 2000 mm neon flex strip with a spot-free diffuser for a continuous-looking light line
- Full-spectrum CRGBW output with tunable white from 2700K to 6500K
- IP67 rating for wet areas and washdowns; for above-water applications only
- 180 LEDs per meter and 5 W per meter power rating for planning loads and driver capacity
- Works with a LUX Strip Light Driver; driver options include a voltage-stabilized 10.5 to 31 V DC input model for typical 12 V and 24 V onboard systems
- Fully encapsulated and potted construction, with UV-resistant materials and salt spray testing noted
- 14.5 mm x 21 mm cross section for fitting into coves, under-lips, and recesses where a rigid channel will not sit cleanly
What’s included
- One (1) LUX SNL180 neon flex strip light, 2000 mm
Installation and setup
Plan the run before you start. The strip is delivered as a pre-made, factory-sealed length to meet IP67 standards, so it is not meant to be cut. Leave room for routing at both ends, and avoid sharp corners. The minimum bend radius is 120 mm, and the strip should be side-bent only, without twisting or bending in the vertical axis.
It can be installed indoors, in partially covered areas, or outside in wet zones, but keep it out of strong direct sunlight when possible. For longer lengths, handling is easier with two people so the strip does not kink or twist while you position it.
Electrical and system integration
This strip is intended to run through a LUX Strip Light Driver and should not be connected to third-party lighting drivers. The strip itself operates on 23 to 25 V, while driver options include a voltage-stabilized unit that accepts 10.5 to 31 V DC input from the vessel.
Control can be handled with a customer-supplied momentary switch, or through compatible control hardware in the LUX ecosystem for more advanced color and scene control. Keep driver placement in mind when choosing the mounting location so wiring stays short, dry, and serviceable.
Compatibility and fit
This 2000 mm strip is a good match when you want a continuous light line under gunwales, along toe-kicks, inside cockpit coamings, under T-tops, or along cabin liners where individual LED points would be distracting. If you are working in tight coves or behind trim, use the 14.5 mm x 21 mm cross section and the 120 mm minimum bend radius to confirm it will sit cleanly without stressing the strip.
Maintenance and care
For routine cleaning, rinse salt and grime with fresh water and wipe with a soft cloth. Avoid harsh solvents and do not use abrasion on the diffuser surface. If the strip is installed in a high-splash zone, periodically check the wiring path and mounting points so the strip stays supported and does not chafe from vibration.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
