Overview

The Lumishore 010-04413-00 is a 600 mm LUX SNL180 neon flex strip light that blends CRGBW color with tunable white from 2700 K to 6500 K behind a spot-free diffuser. It is IP67 sealed for wet areas and washdowns on board, but it is intended for above-water installation and not permanent submersion. The strip uses 180 LEDs per meter and is rated at 5 W per meter for straightforward load planning.

This is a solid choice when you want a continuous line of light with no visible LED points, especially in places where glossy gelcoat shows reflections. Common installs include under gunwales, cockpit coamings, toe-kicks, steps, cabin valances, and along hardtops or T-top details where the strip can follow the curve cleanly.

The strip is factory sealed in a fixed length to maintain its ingress rating, so it is not meant to be cut. It mounts with screw-down clips and bends along its side, with a minimum bend radius of 120 mm.

Key features
  • 600 mm illuminated neon flex strip with a spot-free diffuser for a clean, continuous line of light
  • Full-spectrum CRGBW output with tunable white from 2700 K to 6500 K
  • 180 LEDs per meter with a 5 W per meter power rating for predictable electrical planning
  • IP67 sealed for wet areas and washdowns; for above-water applications only
  • Runs from a LUX Strip Light Driver and supports dimming and color control through a momentary switch or compatible system integration
  • Fully encapsulated and potted construction; UV resistant and salt-spray tested
  • Cross section of 14.5 mm x 21 mm to fit in tight mounting areas
  • Stainless steel screw clips for mounting; minimum bend radius 120 mm with side-bend only
What's included
  • One (1) 600 mm neon flex strip light
  • Stainless steel mounting clips
Installation and setup

Mount the clips with fasteners that match your surface and provide full engagement of the clip. Once the clips are positioned, press the strip into place until it clicks, and use extra clips around tighter curves so the strip stays seated without lifting.

Keep bends gentle and only in the side-bend axis. Do not twist the strip, do not bend it in the vertical axis, and do not stretch it during install. Because the length is factory sealed to meet IP67 standards, it should not be cut.

The jacket is UV resistant, but mounting in areas of strong direct sunlight is not recommended. In exposed locations, a partially covered run under a gunwale lip, cap overhang, or hardtop edge typically holds up better over time.

Electrical and control

This strip is meant to be used with a LUX Strip Light Driver rather than wired directly to boat power. The strip itself operates on a 23 to 25 V DC feed from the driver, and it should not be connected to third-party drivers or controllers.

Control can be handled with a customer-supplied momentary switch, or expanded to system integration for on-screen dimming and color control when paired with compatible hardware. For multi-zone builds, a single driver can support multiple strip lengths up to 10 m total, so it is easier to group runs by area instead of adding a driver for every short section.

Compatibility and fit

With a 600 mm illuminated length and a 14.5 mm x 21 mm profile, this strip works well in trim channels and underside lips where you want indirect light without glare. If you are hiding it behind a valance or under a cap edge, leave enough space for the clip height and plan your routing so the strip is not forced tighter than its 120 mm bend radius.

It is a good match for owners who want color and white lighting in the same run for evening ambience, task lighting at the dock, and subtle courtesy lighting underway without adding multiple different strip types.

Maintenance and care

Rinse with fresh water after heavy salt exposure and avoid harsh solvents on the diffuser. In high-vibration areas, recheck clip fasteners and confirm the strip remains fully seated, especially around bends and at the ends.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.

To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.

We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
