Overview
The Lumishore 010-04386-00 is a 2500 mm SL180 IP68 LED strip light that supports full-spectrum CRGBW color along with tunable white from 2700K to 6500K. It packs 180 LEDs per meter into a 14.5 mm x 5 mm profile, so it fits cleanly under coamings, behind toe-kicks, inside lockers, and along steps.
The strip is fully sealed for wet areas but it is meant for above-water installations only, not for permanent submersion. This is a factory-sealed length and is not intended to be cut; it runs through a LUX Strip Light Driver and can be dimmed and color-controlled from a momentary switch or an integrated lighting control setup.
Key features
- 2.5 m (2500 mm) SL180 strip length with a 14.5 mm x 5 mm cross section for tight mounting spaces
- Full-spectrum CRGBW output plus tunable white range from 2700K to 6500K for matching cabin, cockpit, or deck lighting preferences
- 180 LEDs per meter for a smoother light line in common mounting locations
- IP68-rated, fully encapsulated construction for washdowns and damp areas above the waterline
- UV-resistant and salt-spray tested for typical coastal and offshore exposure
- Mounts with adhesive backing and screw clips; mechanical fasteners are recommended in wet areas and around bends
- Powered through a LUX Strip Light Driver; multiple strips can be supported up to 10 m total strip length per driver, depending on the driver used
- Control options support a simple momentary switch and expanded integration through compatible lighting control components
What's included
- One (1) LUX Strip Light SL180
Installation and setup
Plan the run so the strip can sit flat without twisting. The strip can be bent on the vertical axis with a minimum 50 mm bend radius; avoid horizontal bends and do not twist the strip during installation.
For adhesive mounting, clean the surface with isopropyl alcohol, press the edges of the strip into place (avoid pressing on the LED area), and allow about 24 hours for the adhesive to set before powering up. In outdoor areas, wet lockers, or tighter bends, add screw-mounted fasteners along the run for extra hold.
Electrical and control integration
This strip light is meant to be used with a LUX Strip Light Driver rather than wired directly to the boat's supply. With a regulated driver, the system can be fed from 10.5 to 31 V DC, which covers most 12 V and 24 V boats. Dimming and color control can be handled by a momentary switch, and the same driver ecosystem supports more advanced onboard control when you want it.
Use on board
This is a good match for boaters who want one strip to handle warm white at anchor and color accents for entertaining. It is commonly installed in cockpits, cabins, under gunwales, along stairs, and in storage compartments where you need lighting that stays consistent even when the boat is wet and vibrating.
Maintenance and care
Rinse salt residue from exposed installations during routine washdowns and inspect any mounting clips or fasteners seasonally. If the strip begins to lift at an edge, address it early so it does not get snagged by gear or foot traffic.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
