Overview
The Lumishore 010-04367-00 is a 600 mm (24 in) LUX SL180 LED strip light that supports full-spectrum CRGBW color plus tunable white from 2700K to 6500K.
It comes as a strip that is factory sealed, fully encapsulated, and IP68-rated for wet areas and washdowns, while staying intended for above-water mounting. The strip measures 14.5 mm x 5 mm, so it fits in toe-kicks, under gunwales, inside lockers, and behind trim where a bulkier fixture will not.
Power and dimming run through a dedicated strip-light driver rather than wiring the strip directly to ship's DC. With the right driver, the supply side can be fed from 10.5 to 31 V DC, which covers most 12 V and 24 V boats, and control can be as simple as a momentary switch.
Key features
- 0.6 m (600 mm / 24 in) pre-made length with factory sealing to maintain the IP68 rating
- Full-spectrum CRGBW with tunable white from 2700K to 6500K (warm white, cold white, red, green, blue)
- IP68 rated for wet areas and washdowns; intended for above-water installations
- Slim profile: 14.5 mm x 5 mm cross-section for tight mounting channels
- LED density: 180 LEDs per meter for even light along the run
- Fully encapsulated and potted construction with UV resistance and salt-spray testing
- Adhesive backing for clean installs; mechanical fastening is recommended for outdoor and wet locations
- Minimum 50 mm vertical bend radius; do not twist, and do not bend in the horizontal axis
- Requires a compatible strip-light driver module; driver options accept 10.5 to 31 V DC input or 23 to 25 V DC input depending on the system
Installation and setup
For a clean install, prep the mounting surface so the adhesive can hold. Remove wax and oils, press the strip in place, and let the adhesive set for 24 hours before powering the circuit.
On deck hardware, cockpit coamings, or other wet locations, add mechanical fasteners along the run. Keep fasteners spaced about every 25 to 30 cm and support both sides of any bend.
The strip bends in the vertical axis with a minimum 50 mm radius. Avoid twisting and do not bend it in the horizontal axis. The material is UV resistant, but mounting in strong direct sunlight should be avoided when possible.
This model is supplied in a pre-made, sealed length to maintain the IP68 seal. Do not cut the strip.
Electrical and control
This strip is part of a driver-based system and is not intended to be connected straight to a 12 V or 24 V feed. Use a compatible strip-light driver module and switch or fuse the supply on the input side of that driver.
Control can be handled with a momentary switch for color and dimming changes, and some setups support display-based control when paired with compatible controllers. A single driver can support multiple strips with up to 10 m total strip length, depending on the driver used.
Power draw scales at 5 W per meter, which helps when planning battery and lighting loads across multiple strips.
Compatibility and fit
Confirm you have room for a 600 mm run and for the strip's 14.5 mm by 5 mm profile along the full length, including any channel or recess you plan to hide it in. If the strip will be exposed, plan for strain relief so vibration and normal traffic do not pull on the cable.
It suits interior spaces and exterior areas that see spray or washdown. It can be installed in wet areas, but it is not intended for permanent submersion and should be mounted above the waterline.
Use on board
Common placements include under-gunwale accent lighting, step and toe-kick lighting in the cockpit, indirect cabin lighting behind valances, and soft locker illumination. The tunable white range helps match existing warm cabin lights or go cooler for task lighting, and CRGBW color gives you the option for mood lighting at anchor.
This setup fits boaters who want one strip that can do white light and color without swapping fixtures, and who already have room for a driver module and a simple control point.
Maintenance and care
Rinse salt film during washdowns and wipe the strip with a damp cloth. Avoid harsh solvents, and keep high-pressure spray off the ends and cable entry points.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
