Overview

The Lumitec 101732 is a black Capri3 retrofit kit that lets you install a Capri3 light in the recessed opening left by the previous line of Capri lights.

It uses the same spring clip mounting style as the Capri3 fixture, so the face stays free of exposed screws and sits flush on the mounting surface.

This is the right fit when you are updating an older Capri spreader or deck light location and want the Capri3 look without rebuilding the cutout.

Compatibility and fit

This retrofit kit is intended for recessed openings created by the earlier Capri light line. If the opening has been modified, repaired, or cut for a different fixture, fit can vary.

Installation and setup

After removing the old light, clean out old sealant and debris so the retrofit kit can sit flat in the recess. The Capri3 light then locks in using the spring clips, which keeps the exterior face smooth and serviceable later.

Any wiring work happens at the light, not the retrofit kit. If the cutout exposes laminate, core, or fastener holes from a previous install, reseal and protect the area before snapping the new light into place.

Use on board
