Overview

The Jabsco 58029-1000 is a replacement control kit for Deluxe Flush and Lite Flush marine toilets that use the touch-pad control layout. It gives you four flush functions at the panel: Fill, Quick Flush, Flush, and Empty. Fill adds about 1 quart of water to the bowl, Quick Flush uses less than 1 quart, and Flush rinses and empties the bowl twice using about 2.5 quarts.

This is the control side of the toilet system, not a pump assembly or a complete toilet. It is the right kind of part when the bowl, pump, and plumbing are still serviceable but the control panel assembly needs to be replaced to bring normal toilet operation back at the head compartment.

Compatibility and fit

On Deluxe Flush installations, this control kit is used on 58020, 58220, 58040, 58240, 58060, 58260, 58080, and 58280 series toilets. For Lite Flush installations, it should be matched to toilets that use the wall-mounted control panel arrangement, since Lite Flush models were also offered with a footswitch layout.

Before ordering, match the existing control style and service need rather than ordering by toilet voltage alone. A toilet that needs a pump assembly, motor, or footswitch kit will require a different part.

Installation and setup

This kit makes sense when the toilet still operates as a system but the panel side is damaged, missing, or no longer responding as it should. Check the mounting position, cable path, and access behind the panel before removing the old parts so the replacement can be fitted cleanly in the same head compartment location.
