Overview
The Lumishore 010-04351-00 is a surface-mount underwater LED light that outputs blue light and runs on 12 VDC systems, with a 10.5 to 14.5 V operating range and a 1 A maximum current draw.
It throws a focused 60° beam and sits close to the transom thanks to its low-profile footprint (85 mm / 3.34 in face diameter, 10 mm / 0.39 in housing height), which helps when space is tight around trim tabs, ladders, and transducers.
An IP68 ingress rating and built-in protection features help it hold up to real boating conditions like washdowns, spray, and vibration.
Key features
- 12 V only operation (10.5 to 14.5 VDC) with 1 A maximum current draw
- Single-color blue output with straightforward on/off switching
- IP68 water ingress rating for submersion and wet transom environments
- 60° beam angle for a concentrated pool of light behind the boat
- Low-profile surface-mount housing: 85 mm (3.34 in) face diameter, 10 mm (0.39 in) height
- Internal driver with soft-start, surge protection (3,000 V), reverse polarity protection, automatic thermal roll-back, and low-voltage control
- 2 m (6 ft 6 in) cable length with a 13 mm (0.51 in) cable pass-through hole size
- Mounting uses three A4 stainless steel screws; bonding is not required
Installation and setup
Plan the mounting location on the transom so the light face sits clear of strakes, trim tabs, and hardware that can shadow the beam. Drill a 13 mm (0.51 in) pass-through for the cable, then bed the screws and cable entry with a marine sealant suitable for your hull material.
On the inside of the transom, secure the wiring so it cannot move with vibration, and keep the connection points in a dry, protected area whenever possible.
Electrical and control
This light is for 12 VDC systems only. Wire it on a fused, switched 12 V circuit, and size the wire and fuse to match a 1 A load plus the length of your run.
Because it is single color, a standard on/off switch is all that is needed for basic control.
Use on board
The compact face size suits smaller transoms and tight mounting spots, including center consoles, bay boats, and smaller cruisers. Blue underwater lighting is commonly used for low-glare night ambience at the dock and for drawing baitfish close to the stern when the boat is at rest.
Maintenance and care
Rinse the light after saltwater use and keep the face clean so the beam stays sharp. Periodically check the sealant around the cable pass-through and confirm the mounting screws remain snug.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
