Overview
The JL Audio 010-03342-00 is the JL Audio MVi-HUB, a JLid communication and network bridge used to link JL Audio MVi amplifier systems so they can be configured and tuned as one network. It measures 3.98 in (101 mm) high, 11.21 in (285 mm) wide, and 2.05 in (52 mm) deep, with an IPX2 dust and water rating when properly installed.
In a multi-amp install, the hub brings all connected amplifiers into a single TüN session and keeps DSP presets synchronized across the network. It is powered through the JLid connection to the amplifiers, so there is no separate power feed or remote turn-on wire to run, and operation requires at least one Master MVi amplifier connection.
Key features
- Brings a network of amplifiers into one TüN tuning session and synchronizes DSP presets across the system.
- JLid-COMM connections support 1 Master input and 5 Slave outputs for up to six amplifiers on one hub.
- Uses standard CAT5e cables for JLid-COMM links, which keeps multi-amp wiring straightforward.
- Powered via the JLid connection to the amplifiers, so it does not require separate power or turn-on wiring.
- JLid-CTRL accessory port for an optional Digital Remote Controller, with networked commands distributed across connected amplifiers (functionality varies by model).
- USB 2.0 port for software updates only.
- Power input: 5 VDC.
- NMEA 2000 Micro-C port is present but currently not used and is intended for future development.
What’s included
- Network hub
- Two mounting screws
Compatibility and fit
This hub is for JL Audio MVi amplifier networks where you want one place to manage communication between amplifiers during setup and tuning. It supports one Master MVi amplifier connection and up to five additional amplifiers connected as Slaves through the JLid-COMM ports.
Plan space for the 11.21 in (285 mm) width and leave room for cable bend radius. For best real-world longevity on a boat, mount it in a protected area such as behind the helm, inside a console, or in an equipment locker rather than in an exposed spray zone.
Installation and setup
The hub mounts with two screws and is typically installed close enough to keep cable runs tidy between amplifiers. JLid-COMM connections are made with standard CAT5e cables, which makes it practical to route through rigging tubes and service loops if you keep them secured against vibration and chafe.
Once the network is built, tuning is handled as a single amplifier network. Status indicators on the unit help identify connected amplifiers during setup.
Electrical and system integration
The unit is powered through the JLid connection to the amplifier network and lists a 5 VDC power input. The USB 2.0 port is for software updates only. The built-in NMEA 2000 Micro-C connection is currently not used, so it should not be counted on as an active NMEA 2000 interface in system planning.
Use cases on board
This is a solid fit for boats running multiple JL Audio amplifiers where system-wide tuning and coordinated DSP presets matter, such as larger center consoles, wake boats, and cruisers with multiple listening zones. It also makes sense when an optional remote controller is being used for shared volume and zone-type commands across the network.
Maintenance and care
IPX2 is suitable for incidental moisture when properly installed, but it is still best treated as an in-console component. Keep connectors supported with strain relief, avoid leaving cable ends exposed during service, and re-check fasteners and cable ties after the first few trips when vibration has had time to settle the install.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
