Overview
The Attwood Marine Bench Style Seat Mounts is a bench-style sliding seat mount range for adding an adjustable seating position to jon boats and similar bench-seat layouts. The range centers on an aluminum seat plate and rail system, with configurations for a complete plate-and-rail setup, the seat plate by itself, or longer 30-inch rails for installations that need more fore-and-aft travel.
This style of mount helps a small-boat seat move along the bench area so the operator or passenger can shift position for balance, access to controls, or room around fishing gear. The 15-inch rail kit suits standard bench-seat setups where a compact slide path is enough, while the 30-inch rails give more adjustment range when the boat layout allows it.
Key features
- Bench-style seat mounting system made for jon boat seating applications.
- Aluminum construction keeps the mount practical for small boats where weight and corrosion exposure matter.
- Sliding rail layout lets the seat move fore and aft instead of staying fixed in one bench position.
- Available as a seat plate with 15-inch rails, seat plate only, or 30-inch rails only for replacement and build-out flexibility.
- Works as part of a seat plate, rail, and swivel setup when the matching components are installed together.
Variants
This product is offered in three configurations so the hardware can match the stage of the seat installation or repair.
The main differences are whether the configuration includes the seat plate, the rails, or both, and whether the rails are the 15-inch or 30-inch version. Aluminum construction and bench-style jon boat use are consistent across the range.
- SP-15900: Seat plate and 15-inch rails kit. This configuration combines the seat plate with shorter rails for a compact sliding bench-seat setup.
- SP-15100: Seat plate only. This option is for replacing or adding the plate when the rail hardware is already in place or being sourced separately.
- SP-15200: 30-inch rails only. This configuration supplies longer rails for installations where more seat travel is needed and the matching plate or swivel setup is handled separately.
Installation and fit
These mounts are intended for bench-style seating rather than pedestal-only installations. Before ordering, check the bench width, the available slide path, and the seat or swivel hardware being used, since the plate and rails need a flat mounting area and enough clearance for the seat to travel without hitting the hull side, console, gear, or tiller area.
For replacement work, match the configuration to what is already on the boat. A worn or missing plate does not always require new rails, while a longer layout may need the 30-inch rail set instead of the shorter 15-inch kit.
Use cases on board
This range is a practical match for jon boats, utility boats, and fishing skiffs where a fixed bench seat feels too limiting. It is useful when the operator needs to shift weight, reach controls, or make room for casting, tackle, coolers, or passengers without rebuilding the full seating layout.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
