Overview
The JL Audio 010-03135-00 is an NMEA 2000 network MFD data interface that brings JL Audio MediaMaster controls onto a compatible multifunction display at the helm. It runs on 10 to 15.9 VDC and joins the NMEA 2000 backbone through a Micro-C port (LEN 1), while using its Ethernet port to communicate with the MediaMaster source unit.
Mounted behind the helm or inside a dry electronics space, the module measures 6.77 in wide x 3.98 in deep x 1.73 in high and supports an operating temperature range of -20 C to +65 C (-4 F to +149 F). Once it is on the network, the interface can mirror the familiar MediaMaster screens on the MFD so volume, source, and zone changes stay within reach while you are running the boat.
Key features
- NMEA 2000 Micro-C connection with LEN 1 (50 mA network load) for integration on NMEA 2000 backbones
- 12V system power input range of 10 to 15.9 VDC, with a wiring harness that includes a 1A fuse
- Ethernet connection to the MediaMaster source unit for on-screen control from the helm display
- Works with supported JL Audio MediaMaster source units: MM105, MM105-HR, MM55, and MM55-HR
- Compatible with supported MFD platforms including Garmin, Simrad, B&G, and Lowrance displays
- Maximum current draw of 150 mA
- USB 2.0 port for software updates
- Operating temperature range of -20 C to +65 C (-4 F to +149 F)
What's included
- NMEA 2000 network MFD data interface module
- Wiring harness with 1A fuse
- Four stainless steel mounting screws
Installation and setup
The module installs as a network device rather than a replacement stereo. It needs a powered NMEA 2000 network connection via the Micro-C port, and it also needs its power harness connected to a 12V DC supply within the 10 to 15.9 VDC input range.
Plan for the usual NMEA 2000 hardware at the helm or behind it: a tee to add a drop, plus the right backbone and drop cables for your run. The USB port is used for software updates only.
Compatibility and fit
This interface is for boats running a compatible JL Audio MediaMaster source unit and a compatible MFD that supports the on-screen control pages. The NMEA 2000 network carries the data between the helm and the module, while Ethernet links the module to the MediaMaster source unit.
Before ordering, confirm your MediaMaster model is one of the supported units and that your NMEA 2000 backbone has an open tee location and enough network power budget for a LEN 1 device.
Use on board
It is a good match for boats where the stereo is mounted away from the helm, such as in a cabin, console, or equipment locker, and you still want quick access to zones and sources while docking or running offshore.
The low current draw and wide operating temperature range make it a sensible fit for typical helm electronics spaces when the mounting area is kept dry and the wiring is strain-relieved for vibration.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
