Overview
The JL Audio 010-03280-00 is an 8.8-inch marine enclosed tower coaxial speaker system sold as a pair, built around a 4-ohm load with 125 W continuous power handling per speaker.
Each enclosure measures about 8.80 in across and 14.73 in deep, which helps when you are checking tower clearance under a bimini or hardtop. Finish is a gloss white enclosure with a gloss white trim ring and gloss white Classic grille, plus a black mesh over the 1.25-inch silk-dome tweeter. This configuration is also referenced as M6-880ETXv3-Gw-C-GwGw.
They mount using compatible clamp fixtures that are required and sold separately, with wiring routed through the fixture for a cleaner run on a tower or arch. Plan amplifier power in the 50 to 250 W per channel range and keep wiring and connections suited for wet, vibrating spaces on board.

Installation and setup
These speakers are meant to mount high on a wake tower, T-top, arch, or hardtop using the matching clamp fixtures. Measure your tube or mounting surface first, then select a fixture style and diameter that matches the mount and the aiming you need.
Leave room for the enclosure depth, and make sure the speaker will clear bimini hardware and board racks through the full range of movement. Route speaker wire through the tower when possible, use tinned copper marine cable, and seal any pass-through points to keep water out of the tube.
Compatibility and system planning
Each speaker presents a 4-ohm load, so most marine amplifiers can drive them directly on a single channel per speaker. If you are bridging channels or wiring multiple speakers together, confirm the final impedance stays within your amplifier's limits.
The passive crossover is built in, so you feed it a full-range amplified signal. Set gain and filtering at the amplifier to match the way you listen on the water.
Use cases on board
This setup is a practical match for wake and surf boats that need tower audio to carry back to the rider, and for open-cockpit boats that want more output up top without cutting into interior panels. It also fits well in systems already running an external amplifier in the 50 to 250 W per channel range.
Maintenance and care
After saltwater use, rinse the enclosures and grilles with fresh water and let them dry before covering the boat. Periodically recheck clamp hardware and inspect wiring at the tower base for chafe.
Shipping

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
