Overview
The Lumishore 010-04523-00 is a flush-fit interchangeable thru-hull underwater LED light that outputs blue light, with 5,300 fixture lumens and a focused 60° beam for lighting the water around your hull.
It runs on 10.5-30 V DC, so it fits typical 12 V and 24 V boat systems. The driver is built into the housing, and the light is controlled with a standard on/off switch. A 2 m (6 ft 6 in) cable is attached for routing to your switch or relay.
The face is 65 mm (2.56 in) in diameter and sits 9 mm (0.36 in) proud of the hull. The thru-hull shaft uses a 28 mm (1-1/8 in) hole cut-out and has a 167 mm (6.57 in) shaft length. The body is marine bronze with a borosilicate glass lens, sealed to an IP68 water-ingress rating, and a bonding point is provided on the light.

Compatibility and fit
This light is intended for thru-hull mounting on the transom, hull side, or bottom, where you can reach the inside of the hull to secure the shaft and service the unit.
Before cutting, confirm you have room inside for the 167 mm shaft length plus cable bend radius, and that the location clears stringers, tanks, and trim tabs. The unit weighs 730 g (1.6 lb), so a solid mounting area and proper backing matter.
Installation and wiring
Installation uses a 28 mm (1-1/8 in) hole cut-out for the shaft, with the face sitting nearly flush outside the hull. Use a bedding compound that suits your hull material and follow normal thru-hull practices for sealing and backing.
Power it from a 10.5-30 V DC supply and size the circuit for up to 4.0 A on 12 V systems or 1.9 A on 24 V systems. Switching can be as simple as a dedicated on/off switch, or through a relay if you prefer switching higher current away from the helm. The attached 2 m cable may need an extension run; keep splices watertight and well supported so vibration does not work them loose.
A bonding connection is provided on the light. On metal hulls, an isolation sleeve can be used to help separate the fitting from the hull while still allowing proper bonding where required.
Materials and corrosion resistance
The body is marine bronze with a borosilicate glass lens. With correct bonding and clean wiring, this material combination holds up well in saltwater and around dissimilar metals on the transom.
Use on board
Blue underwater lighting is commonly used for night fishing, at-anchor ambiance, and lighting the waterline near a swim platform. It is a good match for boats that want a single-color light that turns on and off without an external controller.
Maintenance and care
Rinse the lens and face after saltwater use and avoid scraping the glass with abrasive pads. Periodically check the inside-hull hardware for tightness, inspect the cable for chafe, and confirm the bonding connection stays clean and secure.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
