Overview

The Lumishore 010-04519-00 is a thru-hull underwater LED light with an external driver for 24 V DC systems (20 to 31 V DC input). It outputs blue or white light from the same fixture, with up to 20,000 fixture lumens in white and a 110 degree beam that spreads light close to the hull.

The housing is rated IP68 for underwater mounting and uses a marine bronze body with a borosilicate glass lens. It sits low on the outside of the hull, while the driver mounts inside the boat where it stays dry and serviceable.

Compatibility and fit

Confirm your mounting location before cutting the hull. The required shaft cut-out is 27 mm (1-1/16 inch). The light face is 130 mm (5.12 inch) diameter, the housing profile is 18 mm (0.70 inch), and the shaft length is 140 mm (5.51 inch), which helps you check clearance inside the boat around backing plates, stringers, and hardware.

A bonding connection is provided on the light and bonding is required. For metal hull installations, isolation sleeves are available to help manage corrosion risks at the hull interface.

Installation and wiring

This is a 24 V only installation, so it does not suit 12 V systems. Plan wiring and circuit protection around the maximum 6.5 A draw at 24 V DC, and mount the driver in a dry location with access to connections for future service.

Thru-hull lighting lives in a high-stress area of the boat. A clean, straight hole, a proper backing surface, and sealant that matches your hull material matter as much as the light itself. Leave enough slack and strain relief on the cable so vibration and movement do not work the connection over time.

Control and integration

Control can be handled through a SUPRA i-Connect Hub and Switch for mode and brightness changes. With a SUPRA Bridge Module and a compatible MFD, control can also be brought onto the MFD screen or the EOS-LUX-SUPRA display, with Wi-Fi control available through a connected device on the local network.

Available modes include white, blue, strobe, synchronized strobe, fade, and synchronized fade, which covers common on-the-water scenarios like night docking, time at anchor, and lighting the water off the transom.

Use on board

This light fits best on boats with a 24 V DC electrical system that want a wide spread of underwater lighting and the option to run either blue or white. It is commonly installed on the transom or low on the hull sides, where the wide beam can wash the waterline and swim platform area with light.

Maintenance and care

Rinse the outside face after saltwater runs when practical, and wipe the lens with a soft cloth to keep output from dropping off. Periodically check the bonding connection, cable strain relief, and the driver mounting fasteners for loosening from vibration.
