Overview
The Garmin 010-13307-20 is a mounting base kit for securing a Force Current kayak trolling motor to your kayak, so the motor has a solid, repeatable mounting point at the stern.
The kit includes the mounting base and the hardware needed to fasten it to the kayak. It weighs about 3 lb, which matters if you are keeping overall rig weight under control on a smaller hull.
This is the mount only. It does not include the trolling motor.
Key features
- Made specifically for the Garmin Force Current kayak trolling motor
- Mounting base and fastening hardware for a bolted install on a kayak
- Creates a stable mounting point that helps keep alignment consistent when deploying and stowing the motor
- About 3 lb total kit weight
- Mechanical accessory that does not change your 12V or 24V electrical setup
Compatibility and fit
This mount base kit is intended for a Force Current kayak trolling motor, not as a universal bracket for other motors. Before ordering, confirm your motor model is Force Current and plan for a mounting surface that is flat where the base will sit.
Most kayak installs work best when you can reach the underside of the mounting area for proper support and tightening. If your hull flexes in that area, spreading the load with appropriate backing material can help keep the mount from working loose over time.
Installation and setup
Dry-fit the base first to confirm clearance for the motor in both the deployed and stowed positions, and make sure the stern area gives the mount a clean overhang where needed. Once you are happy with placement, mark and drill carefully and seal any penetrations so water stays out of the hull.
After the first few trips, re-check fastener tightness. Vibration from trailering and normal on-water use can settle hardware into plastic and composite surfaces.
Maintenance and care
For saltwater use, a quick freshwater rinse and a wipe-down around the moving areas of the mount helps keep grit and dried salt from building up. Periodically inspect the base and hardware for looseness, especially after transport, beach landings, or any impact to the motor.
Use on board
This kit is a practical match for kayak anglers and small-boat owners running a Force Current who want a clean, bolted-down mount at the stern. It also fits well as a straightforward replacement when an existing base has been damaged or worn from heavy use.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
