Overview
The Plash Gravity is a surface mounted LED deck light for adding cool white courtesy or accent lighting to boat decks, hardtops, cockpit areas, cabins, steps, and other fiberglass mounting surfaces. This black-housing version uses a 6000K cool white LED with a 105-lumen output and a wide 120 degree beam, giving useful visibility without turning the light into a large fixture.
The Gravity light mounts on the surface, so the installation does not require coring a large hole through the mounting surface. A smaller wire pass-through and fasteners are used instead, which makes it practical for boat builders, refits, and clean lighting upgrades on finished panels.
With a machined aluminum housing, IP67 rating, 1.2W power draw, and a 9 ft tinned copper power lead with a black insulated jacket, this light is built for marine areas where washdowns, vibration, and compact mounting space matter.
Key features
- Surface mounted Gravity LED deck light with black housing and cool white 6000K light output.
- 105 lumens from a 1W OSRAM LED, suitable for courtesy lighting, steps, side panels, hardtops, and deck accent locations.
- 120 degree beam angle spreads light across nearby deck or panel areas instead of creating a narrow spot.
- IP67 rating supports use in exposed marine locations where spray and washdowns are common.
- Low 1.2W power draw helps keep load modest on small lighting circuits.
- 12VDC and 24VDC versions are available to match common boat electrical systems.
- Current draw is 0.2A at 12VDC or 0.1A at 24VDC, which helps when planning circuit load and fuse protection.
- 9 ft tinned copper wire lead with black insulation gives extra reach for routing behind panels or through hardtop structures.
Variants
This Gravity deck light range is offered with three black faceplate styles and two voltage options. The faceplate options are Eyelid, Dome, and Surface Mount, while the electrical options are 12VDC and 24VDC.
Across this black cool white configuration, the light output, color temperature, beam angle, IP67 rating, 1.2W power draw, and 9 ft tinned copper lead remain part of the same Gravity specification set. The 12V and 24V versions differ in system voltage and current draw.
Installation and setup
The surface mount format is useful when a clean lighting upgrade is needed without cutting a large fixture opening. Route the wire through a small drilled pass-through, fasten the light housing to the fiberglass roof, wall, panel, step area, or deck surface, and secure the faceplate after wiring is complete.
The light should be installed where water will not sit around the fixture for long periods. As with any marine DC lighting installation, power should be isolated before wiring, connections should be protected from moisture, and the circuit should be fuse protected.
Use on board
This light fits boats that need a low-profile cool white light for visibility around walkways, cockpit sides, storage areas, hardtop undersides, steps, or deck edges. The wide beam works well when the goal is to make nearby surfaces easier to see rather than to project light far across the boat.
The 12V versions suit many small and mid-size boat systems, while the 24V versions make sense for vessels already wired around a 24V DC lighting circuit. Matching the voltage to the boat system is the key fit check before installation.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
