Overview

The Garmin 010-03012-10 is a GT360UHD 12-pin transducer for Garmin Spy Pole systems, made for capturing 360-degree OneVü sonar imagery around the boat in 2D and 3D views. It gives anglers a bird's-eye view of structure, bait, cover, and fish around the boat, then keeps the scanned image tied to location with True Motion technology as the boat moves.

This transducer supports High-Definition SideVü at 455/800 kHz and Ultra-High-Definition SideVü at 1.0 MHz, with CHIRP ranges of 400-500 kHz, 740-900 kHz, and 940-1100 kHz. It also supports traditional sonar at about 300 kHz. The housing measures 58.1 mm x 215.9 mm x 97.0 mm, and the operating temperature range is 0°C to 50°C.

On the water, it is a practical fit for anglers who use a Garmin chartplotter and Spy Pole setup to scan around the boat without constantly repositioning the vessel. It can also be used with a compatible LiveScope transducer setup to layer live sonar over the 360-degree imagery.

Key features
  • Captures 360-degree OneVü sonar imagery around the boat in 2D and 3D views when mounted on a Spy Pole.
  • 12-pin transducer connection for compatible Garmin chartplotter systems.
  • High-Definition SideVü supports 455/800 kHz, while Ultra-High-Definition SideVü supports 1.0 MHz for detailed side-scanning coverage.
  • SideVü 1 transmits at 500 W RMS and can cover up to 500 ft to each side at 455 kHz, water conditions permitting.
  • SideVü 2 transmits at 500 W RMS and can cover up to 200 ft to each side at 1.0 MHz, water conditions permitting.
  • Traditional sonar support runs at about 300 kHz with a listed range of 150 ft.
  • True Motion technology works with GPS so scans stay aligned to real position as the boat moves through the scanned area.
  • Auto, manual, and constant scan modes let the operator match scanning behavior to how the boat is moving and how the area is being fished.
  • Chartplotter controls allow scanning modes, sonar frequencies, and color palettes to be adjusted from the display.
  • The kit includes mounting pieces for Spy Pole installation and a side shaft mount for adding a LiveScope transducer.
Installation and setup

The GT360UHD transducer is installed in a mounting bracket that attaches to the bottom shaft of the Garmin Spy Pole. Cable routing runs through the Spy Pole shaft, which keeps the installation cleaner and reduces exposed cable around the trolling motor area.

During installation, the assembly slides onto the bottom shaft and secures with the included 20 mm bolt. A #2 Phillips screwdriver and 5 mm hex wrench or bit are used in the Spy Pole mounting process. The Spy Pole itself is sold separately, so the vessel should already have that system or be planned for it before ordering this transducer.

Compatibility and system integration

This transducer is meant for use with a compatible Garmin chartplotter. Chartplotter software should be updated when the device is installed, since sonar settings and operation are handled through the display. For boats already running Garmin sonar at the bow, the GT360UHD adds a wider scouting view that can work alongside LiveScope for a more complete picture around the boat.

The included LiveScope side shaft mount allows a LiveScope transducer to be mounted to the Spy Pole. When used together, LiveScope live sonar can be overlaid with the OneVü imagery, giving a live window into targets inside the broader scanned area.

Use cases on board

This transducer makes the most sense on fishing boats where the bow electronics are used to work structure, edges, brush, docks, grass lines, and open-water targets. The 360-degree view helps when the boat is not directly pointed at the target, and the scan history can reduce the need to rescan the same area repeatedly.

It is especially useful for anglers who already rely on a Garmin chartplotter and want a broader survey around the boat before making short casts, repositioning on cover, or following fish that move through the scanned zone.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.

To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.

We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
