Overview
The Simrad 000-10758-001 is a 35 m (115 ft) mast cable that links a SimNet masthead wind unit to a NMEA 2000 network using a Micro-C connection.
This is a single continuous run for typical sailboat mast routing, so you can get wind angle and wind speed data from the masthead down to the backbone without stacking multiple short extensions. One end is a Micro-C male plug for a standard NMEA 2000 Micro-C port, and the other end is a SimNet connector for the wind sensor side.
Key features
- 35 m (115 ft) length for long mast runs on sailboats with deck-stepped or keel-stepped rigs
- NMEA 2000 wind vane cable built for connecting a masthead wind unit into the boat network
- Micro-C male end for NMEA 2000 Micro-C connections and a SimNet connector on the wind unit end
- Useful when the wind sensor is SimNet-based but the rest of the boat network is Micro-C NMEA 2000
Compatibility and fit
This cable is meant for a SimNet masthead wind sensor connection and a NMEA 2000 backbone that uses Micro-C connectors. The Micro-C end mates with a Micro-C female port (commonly found on a T-connector or network extension). The SimNet end mates with the SimNet port on the wind unit side.
It is a network cable, not a general-purpose power lead or Ethernet cable, so it should be used only within the NMEA 2000/SimNet instrument network.
Installation and setup
Before you pull the cable, measure the route and plan where you want service loops at the mast base and behind the instrument network. When running inside the spar, secure it to avoid slap and chafe, and protect the connectors while pulling through tight exits or conduit.
Once connected, confirm the NMEA 2000 backbone is correctly powered and terminated, then check your display or instrument system for wind data on the network.
Use cases on board
This cable is a good match for cruisers and racers who need reliable wind data at the helm and below decks, especially when updating the boat to a Micro-C NMEA 2000 backbone while keeping a SimNet masthead wind setup.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.

For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
