Overview

The Simrad 000-13912-001 is a stainless steel thru-hull CHIRP depth and temperature transducer with a 12° tilt and a 9-pin xSonic connector. It runs High CHIRP in the 130-210 kHz range at 600 W and includes a 10 m (33 ft) cable for routing to a compatible sonar module or display.

The built-in tilt is matched to hull deadrise from 8° to 15°, so the element sits closer to level once installed. The low-profile housing keeps drag down, with about 5 mm extending outside the hull. Physical size is 94 mm (diameter) x 134 mm, and installed weight is about 1.4 kg.

Key features
  • High CHIRP 130-210 kHz for target detail in shallower water and steady bottom tracking as depth increases
  • 600 W single-element sonar with an approximate beamwidth range of 15° to 9°
  • 12° tilted element for 8° to 15° hull deadrise, reducing the need for wedges or fairing blocks in many installs
  • Stainless steel thru-hull body for below-waterline mounting in saltwater environments
  • Low-profile exterior with about 5 mm projecting outside the hull to minimize drag and spray
  • Integrated temperature sensor for water temp readings alongside depth
  • 9-pin xSonic connection with a 10 m (33 ft) cable for clean runs to the helm or electronics bay
Compatibility and fit

This is a thru-hull transducer, so it requires access to the inside of the hull for the retaining hardware and cable routing. The 12° tilt is intended for hulls with 8° to 15° of deadrise at the mounting point. If your deadrise is outside that range, the element angle can be off and performance may suffer.

Connection is via a 9-pin xSonic plug. Make sure your sounder or sonar module has a matching 9-pin transducer port, or plan for the correct adapter if your system uses a different connector style.

Installation and setup

Thru-hull installs are best done with the boat out of the water. Choose a location that stays in clean, aeration-free water at speed, with enough inside clearance for the nut and cable bend radius. After drilling and bedding the fitting, tighten to a solid seal without stressing the hull laminate.

Route the cable away from high-current wiring where possible, protect it from chafe, and leave a service loop near the electronics end. Once connected, select the correct transducer type in your sonar settings so the unit matches the SS75H frequency range and output.

Use cases on board

This transducer is a good match for boats that want a low-profile thru-hull for regular coastal runs, fishing, and general depth awareness, with temperature shown on the same screen. It also suits smaller hulls where keeping drag down matters and there is limited room for large fairing blocks.

Maintenance and care

Keep the face of the transducer clean so growth does not soften returns or affect temperature response time. During routine haul-outs, inspect the bedding seal and cable jacket, and re-secure any cable clamps that have loosened from vibration.

Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.

Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.

To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.

We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
