Overview
The Simrad 000-13780-001 is a stainless steel thru-hull CHIRP transducer (SS175H-W/0) with a 0° tilted element and a 9-pin XSONIC connector.
It runs a high-wide CHIRP band from 150 to 250 kHz with a constant 25° beam, and it is rated at 1 kW for strong returns. It supports depth and water-temperature sensing, with depth capability up to 152 m (500 ft) in good conditions.
The low-profile housing sits close to the hull to help keep readings stable when the boat is moving. The 0° tilt version is intended for hull sections around 0 to 7° of deadrise so the element points straight down once installed.
Key features
- 1 kW high-wide CHIRP operation from 150 to 250 kHz with a constant 25° beam
- 0° tilted element for hull deadrise angles around 0 to 7°
- Depth and water-temperature sensing from a single thru-hull install
- Stainless steel thru-hull, low-profile housing suited for harsh bilge and bottom environments
- 9-pin XSONIC connection with a 10 m (33 ft) cable for flexible routing to the helm
- Overall size listed as 134 mm diameter by 118 mm height, with a 2.7 kg (6 lb) transducer weight
Compatibility and fit
This is a single-channel transducer meant for systems that accept a 1 kW CHIRP transducer in the 150 to 250 kHz range. Confirm your display or sounder module has a 9-pin XSONIC transducer port, or plan for the correct adapter cable for your unit.
Installation and setup
Thru-hull installs need a clean-water location with inside-hull access for the retaining nut, bedding, and cable routing. The required hole size is 95 mm (3-3/4 in) for fiberglass or wood hulls, and 105 mm (4-1/8 in) for metal hulls.
Because the element is fixed at 0°, placement matters. Choose a section of hull that matches the 0 to 7° deadrise range and stays clear of strakes, steps, intakes, and other sources of aerated water.
Use on board
The constant wide beam is a practical fit for inshore and nearshore fishing where you want more coverage under the boat while still keeping detail on bottom and fish targets. It is also useful when drifting over structure, working bait schools, or tracking marks without needing to be directly over them.
Maintenance and care
Keep the face clean and smooth for consistent performance. If you apply bottom protection, use coatings intended for transducers and avoid thick, hard paints on the acoustic window. Periodically check the bedding seal and inspect the cable where it passes through bulkheads for chafe.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
